Homemade Pita Chips

This simple recipe is quick and easy and super versatile. If you’ve never made baked pita chips, you’re going to be surprised at just how simple they are to make.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 pita breads
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • flaky sea salt, to taste
  • ground black pepper, to taste
  • Italian seasoning, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F
  • Using a pizza cutter, sharp knife or kitchen shears cut each round into 8 pita wedges.
  • Place pita triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer.
  • Brush each piece (front and back) with olive oil or use an olive oil cooking spray.
  • Season with salt, pepper, garlic pepper and Italian seasoning.
  • Bake for 5-7 minutes or until they are crispy and golden brown, flipping them halfway through. Allow to cool completely before serving.
