With over 15 years of experience in the food industry, I haven’t just observed culinary artistry; I’ve lived it. While I may not have been a chef, I’ve served and bartended in some of the most amazing establishments, absorbing the sights, sounds, and most importantly, the flavors.
I believe in real food, the kind that has sustained us for centuries is what I focus on here at Gimme From Scratch. What sets me apart is my dedication to making restaurant-worthy dishes accessible to home cooks. I love recreating the magic of dining out in the comfort of my own kitchen.
I find immense joy in hosting friends and family, sharing my culinary expertise, and creating memorable dining experiences at home.
My love for food was ignited early on, as I watched my grandmothers and mother create mouthwatering dishes. The warmth of their recipes and the aroma of home-cooked meals left an indelible mark on my heart. I’m a Chicago native so some of my favorite dishes come from home. I also have a special love Cajun, southern and soul food.
My mission is to help you create restaurant-quality dishes using quality ingredients, most of which are made from scratch.
